Neurologist, Neuro-Palliative - Berkeley, Castro Valley, CA
Our organization is looking to recruit a full-time Neurologist to become part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to practicing evidence-based medicine.
The selected candidate will engage in general neurology while also establishing a neuro-palliative practice.
This role offers a commitment of 0.8-1.0 FTE.
The primary focus will be on an outpatient clinic setting, specifically within a general neurology clinic.
Group call responsibilities are limited to telephonic support and are shared among eight neurologists.
Participation in the neurology hospital consultation service is optional (at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center).
One day will be spent in Castro Valley, with 2-3 clinic days in Berkeley, which serves as the specialty hub.
One day will be allocated for virtual or home visits.

Join a large neurology department where all clinicians practice general neurology while also having subspecialty interests, fellowship training, and/or experience.
Each clinician is supported by a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA).
Receive additional support from Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) for specific services.
Qualifications
Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
Experience or training in neuro-palliative care is essential.
An active and unrestricted California Medical License is required.
A current DEA license is necessary.
While prior experience is preferred, recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
