Job Description
Our organization is looking for a dedicated and skilled Director of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology to guide and manage the clinical and strategic aspects of our pediatric hematology and oncology program, while also engaging in active patient care. Practice HighlightsLeadership & Program Oversight:Act as the Medical Director for the Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Program, offering strategic and clinical guidance to enhance program objectives and quality benchmarks.
Supervise the creation and execution of clinical protocols.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in hematology/oncology to improve program efficiency and patient outcomes.
Participate in strategic planning and the expansion of the pediatric hematology/oncology program.
Represent the program at institutional and external meetings, conferences, and collaborative projects.
Deliver direct patient care with a focus on pediatric hematology/oncology.
Maintain an active clinical schedule for both outpatient and inpatient settings, balancing responsibilities with leadership duties.
Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical rounds.
Provide support and mentorship to advanced practice providers, junior physicians, and APCs in clinical environments.
MD or DO with board certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Eligibility for medical licensure in California.
Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Preferred minimum of 5 years of clinical and/or leadership experience post-fellowship.
Demonstrated leadership in clinical program development, quality enhancement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Strong dedication to medicine, clinical research, and education.
