Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Certified Imaging Cardiologist to enhance our expanding Cardiology Imaging program. Currently, our program features one Imaging-trained Cardiologist and several additional physicians who support a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI initiative. The Heart & Vascular Institute is home to 12 cardiologists, including 3 interventionalists, 3 electrophysiologists, and 4 non-interventionalists, along with 13 cardiology Nurse Practitioners. Additionally, our surgical program includes 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical Physician Assistants, and 2 CVICU Nurse Practitioners. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals committed to delivering exceptional cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide imaging services in a high-volume cardiac CT/MRI program.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of cardiologists and support staff.
- Engage in teaching opportunities with Cardiology Fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives.
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology, with the expectation to achieve Board Certification within two years of employment.
- Strong background in interventional cardiology is preferred.
