Job Description
Job Overview You will prepare products that will delight our customers with their taste and timely delivery. An excellent Baker / Cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared results. You must be quick / efficient in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and baking / cooking techniques is also important.
Responsibilities and Duties
%CF; Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
%CF; Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (baking, chopping and peeling vegetables etc.)
%CF; Cook food in various utensils or equipment
%CF; Check food while cooking to stir or turn
%CF; Ensure great presentation
%CF; Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
%CF; Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
%CF; Check quality of ingredients
%CF; Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements
%CF; Proven experience as a baker / cook
%CF; Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
%CF; Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
%CF; Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
%CF; Ability to work in a team
%CF; Very good communication skills
%CF; Excellent physical condition and stamina
%CF; High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
