Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Primary Care Physician / Medical Director in Fairmont, West Virginia.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Executive-level outpatient leadership opportunity combining direct patient care with Medical Director responsibilities
• Hybrid role structured as approximately 80% clinical and 20% administrative leadership
• Opportunity to oversee approximately 15 providers while helping drive quality improvement and operational performance
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership on documentation standards, workflow efficiency, and patient outcomes

SCHEDULE
• Monday-Friday outpatient schedule
• Outpatient-only care model
• One dedicated administrative day weekly
• Minimum 14 patients daily
• No inpatient rounding responsibilities

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Base salary: $215,000 – $230,000 annually
• Administrative compensation: $150/hour
• Bonus potential and annual salary increases

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient primary care services within Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics scope
• Supervise advanced practice providers and support clinical operations
• Lead quality improvement, workflow optimization, and documentation initiatives
• Collaborate with executive leadership on operational efficiency and patient care standards
• Oversee substance use disorder program support initiatives
• Serve underserved patient populations with strong Medicaid presence

• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics REQUIRED
• Minimum 10 years clinical experience REQUIRED
• Active West Virginia medical license REQUIRED or ability to obtain
• Leadership and provider oversight experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities REQUIRED
• Strong quality improvement and workflow optimization mindset REQUIRED
