Shifts Available:
☀️ Day Shift: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
???? Evening Shift: 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Do you enjoy cooking and making a difference in people's lives? We are seeking a cross-trained Dietary Aide / Cook to join our long-term care team. In this dual-role position, you'll rotate between cooking and dietary aide responsibilities to help ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent resident service.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and cook meals following standardized recipes and therapeutic diet guidelines
Accurately portion and plate meals for modified diets (mechanical soft, pureed, diabetic, etc.)
Assist with tray line service, dishwashing, and kitchen cleanup
Maintain food safety, proper temperatures, and sanitation compliance
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and inspection-ready
Provide friendly, respectful service to residents
What We're Looking For:
Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented individuals
Willingness to work in both cook and dietary aide roles
Food service experience required (healthcare/LTC preferred)
Knowledge of therapeutic diets a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
