We are seeking licensed and dedicated mental health professionals (LCPC, LGPC) to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about providing high-quality care and supporting clients on their path to wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the mental and behavioral health status of clients.
- Provide counseling and therapy to scheduled patients in alignment with professional counseling standards.
- Identify patients experiencing urgent mental health conditions (e.g., suicidal, homicidal, psychotic) and make timely referrals to appropriate emergency or psychiatric facilities.
- Document counseling sessions, assessments, interventions, and recommendations to meet medical record and provider requirements.
- Provide group and family therapy sessions as clinically indicated.
- Participate in a team-based approach to patient care and treatment.
- Contribute to quality care through peer review, policy development, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical and counseling services, including billing details, to ensure compliance with third-party reimbursement.
- Ensure accurate and consistent use of encounter forms for all client contacts with behavioral health providers.
- Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings, workshops, and participation on committees.
- Completion of an accredited program with certification and licensure as an LCPC or LGPC in the state of Maryland.
- Minimum of two years full-time experience in outpatient mental health counseling preferred.
- Must meet and maintain current PHC credentialing and privileging requirements.
- Full-time, part-time, and weekend schedules available.
- Flexible outpatient hours (no on-call requirements).
- Offices open MondayFriday, 9:00 am5:00 pm.
- Three convenient office locations within 30 minutes of Baltimore.
