About the Role:
Join our dedicated team at Jorge Vasquez-Garcia DDS Dental Cor as a Bilingual Dental Assistant, where your skills will make a meaningful impact on our patients' dental health. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
• Provide excellent customer service while managing patient appointments and records.
• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish to explain procedures and answer questions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including billing and insurance verification as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required for effective patient communication.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Current CPR certification is a plus.
