Design Specialist

As a Design Specialist, your responsibilities are to generate new customer leads, form a positive relationship with each customer, and recommend and sell heating, ventilation, or air conditioning products to leads and current customers. Your duties are also to assist those who install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment by contacting customers, providing quotes about the recommended service, writing proposals and contracts, and designing HVAC systems in customer homes.

• Must arrive to first call and all meetings on time
• Ability to communicate in an intelligent manner with clients, customers, and office staff
• Ability to adapt and use 5 step sales process
• Ability to perform heat load calculations and explain in detail to client what it means
• Properly Pre-Site and write up estimates for Full system replacements including electrical circuits and ductwork.
• Properly document and plan for any unforeseen issues while quoting system replacements
• May be called upon to perform the duties of subordinate levels.
• All other duties as assigned.
