Lighting Interior Designer

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design

· 2-5 years of interior design experience is must.

· Experience developing residential lighting packages and specifications

· Experience selecting lighting, furniture, architectural finishes, and decorative elements

· Experience working directly with clients, interior designers, builders, or architects preferred

· Experience supporting high-end residential or custom design projects preferred

· NCIDQ certification or related professional certifications preferred but not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong understanding of space planning, lighting design, materials, finishes, and full-home design concepts

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite required

· SolidWorks experience preferred

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong presentation and visual storytelling abilities

· Ability to balance creativity, practicality, and project timelines

· Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and clients

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

· Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-oriented environment
