Direct Hire, Interior Designer

Fully Onsite Position, Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Base Pay: $55k/annually + Eligible for commission after training/onboarding period

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and innovative Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing interior spaces that align with client visions and project specifications. Your expertise will help transform environments through creative design solutions, technical proficiency, and meticulous project management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in interior design principles, technical drafting skills, and a passion for creating functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces across residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts that meet client needs and project goals
• Create detailed drawings and renderings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is realized effectively
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery of designs
• Source and specify fixtures, lighting, and materials that align with design concepts
• Conduct site visits to oversee renovation, remodeling, or construction phases ensuring adherence to plans
• Coordinate with lighting and flooring team for design integration
• Draft quotes and scope of work documents
• Assist in procurement processes while maintaining cost-effective solutions
• Stay informed on current trends in interior design, color theory, and sustainable practices

Qualifications:

• Proven experience within the interior design industry
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, and Bluebeam
• Understanding of renovation and remodeling procedures from concept through construction completion
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills for clients and team collaboration
