Furniture Sales / Interior Designer

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Furniture Salesperson / Designer to join our team. This role combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with hands-on design support and physical tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

On Saturdays, our store also hosts a cat rescue, so an interest in helping animals find loving homes is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with furniture selection, sales, and interior design guidance
• Provide personalized design recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
• Safely lift and move furniture pieces (minimum of 150 lbs)
• Load purchased items into customers’ vehicles
• Use ladders to install and hang items such as chandeliers and lighting fixtures
• Maintain showroom appearance and assist with merchandise setup and displays

Requirements:

• Ability to lift at least 150 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working on ladders and performing overhead installations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Interest or experience in furniture sales and/or interior design
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous retail or furniture sales experience
• Background in interior design or a related field
