Title: Tax Staff / Tax Senior Accountant - Top 15 CPA Firm in Central Florida
Location: Orlando, FL 32810
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 + Bonus
Founded in 1990, we are a 40 employee public accounting firm based in Orlando, Florida. We support privately held companies, family owned businesses, nonprofit organizations, charter schools, and individuals across Florida and the United States. Our team provides audit, tax, consulting, valuation, and advisory services across industries such as real estate, construction, medical services, hospitality, manufacturing, nonprofit, and retail. As a Tax Staff Accountant or Tax Senior, you will prepare and review tax returns, support client engagements, and contribute to the accuracy and quality of our tax practice while developing your technical and professional skills.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofits
- Assist with tax research, planning, and compliance projects across multiple industries
- Support engagement workflow, documentation, and workpaper preparation
- Communicate with clients to gather information, resolve questions, and provide updates
- Collaborate with seniors and managers to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
What You Need for This Position
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
- 2-5 years of public accounting tax experience, depending on level
- Working knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and common tax forms
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and work effectively in a team environment
