Customer Support Management Specialist – Drive Service Excellence in Aviation

Location: Miami
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $16.21 – $20.15 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aviation organization to hire an experienced Customer Support Management professional in Miami, FL. Position Overview

As a Customer Support Management Specialist, you will oversee order management activities, resolve customer issues, coordinate across departments, and support critical aerospace supply chain operations. Your ability to prioritize, communicate effectively, and maintain accuracy will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and business performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review customer purchase orders to verify requirements and ensure accurate processing

  • Enter, manage, and maintain orders within SAP and customer portal systems

  • Coordinate with warehouse, sales, quality, and operations teams to resolve order-related issues

  • Prioritize orders based on urgency, shipment deadlines, and customer needs

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to orders, inventory, billing, and shipping

  • Monitor open orders and proactively drive issue resolution

  • Expedite high-priority and complex orders to ensure on-time delivery

  • Manage customer claims related to:

    • Returns

    • Quality concerns

    • Accounting discrepancies

    • Credit and rebill processes

  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements and corrective actions

  • Support accounts receivable activities including payment follow-up and collection coordination

  • Track part demand, contract fulfillment, and inventory usage trends

  • Build strong customer relationships through responsive communication and dependable support

  • Prepare reports, metrics, and operational updates to improve service performance


Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of related professional experience

  • Background in:

    • Customer Support

    • Program Management

    • Order Management or Supply Chain Operations

  • Hands-on experience using SAP or similar ERP systems

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including:

    • Excel

    • Word

    • Outlook

    • PowerPoint

  • Experience analyzing reports and translating data into actionable solutions

Export Control Requirements

This position requires access to information and facilities regulated under ITAR/EAR compliance standards. Employment eligibility may be limited to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees, unless appropriate export authorization is obtained.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aerospace or aviation customers

  • Aerospace hardware sales or aviation parts support experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong numerical reasoning and attention to detail

  • Customer-focused mindset with professionalism and urgency

  • Experience working in a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment

Pay Details: $16.21 to $20.15 per hour
