The firm is seeking an employment Litigation Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its San Francisco Labor and Employment practice. This role offers hands on responsibility across all phases of litigation and the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigators on sophisticated employment matters.
The associate will focus on defending employers in wage and hour disputes including class actions and PAGA matters as well as discrimination harassment and retaliation claims in court arbitration and before administrative agencies.
Responsibilities
The associate will manage cases from strategy through resolution including drafting pleadings and motions conducting discovery participating in depositions and hearings and assisting with mediation and trial preparation. The role also includes supporting employer compliance matters such as investigations legal research and reviewing or drafting employee handbooks.
Billables requirement: 1750
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Juris Doctor active California Bar membership
- At least 4 years of litigation experience.
- Wage and hour class action and PAGA experience is required.
- Strong research writing advocacy and case management skills are essential along with a collaborative and client focused approach.
