Summary:
Worker from an agency - Temporary.

Responsibilities of the Temporary Deburr and Hydro Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform deburring operations on machined components using hand tools, grinders, files, and other finishing equipment.
  • Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing (hydro testing) on parts, assemblies, and valves according to company procedures and specifications.
  • Inspect components before and after deburring and hydro testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Identify defects or irregularities and report issues to supervisors.
  • Maintain testing equipment and tools in safe working condition.
  • Record and document hydro test results accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications of the Temporary Deburr and Hydro Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in deburring, hydro testing, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • Ability to use precise measuring instruments such as caliper, micrometers and indicators.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
