Jet ski operator

Job Overview

I need someone with a jetski, preferably with a sled, to do water support for a triathlon at Uvas Reservoir in Morgan Hill, CA, on 5/31.

Details

• Jet ski must be inspected at a Santa Clara County Park that offers that service before the event -- Friday or Saturday would be best -- there is no on-site inspection the day of the event
• Jet ski needs to be at Uvas Reservoir on 5/31 in time to be in the water at 6:00 am
• Need to place buoys in the water to mark the course
• Once the race starts, work with the other water support on SUPs and kayaks to look for swimmers in trouble and bring them to shore
• Last racer should be out of the water by 8:30 am and you should be free to leave by 9:00 am

Requirements

• Have a jet ski
• Can operate it safely
• You don't have to be a certified lifeguard

Compensation

• $300 payment on the day via Venmo or Zelle; negotiable
• A hotel room 15 minutes from the venue is available if you want to come up the day before. Will have to share the room but not the bed
