We are seeking a warm, charismatic, hospitality-driven Tasting Room Manager who loves people, notices details, remembers guests, and creates an atmosphere guests never want to leave. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on connection, team leadership, elevated guest experiences, and the energy of a destination winery overlooking the lake.

What Youll Do

Create Exceptional Guest Experiences

  • Lead the daily operation of our tasting room and guest experience
  • Create a welcoming, polished, energetic atmosphere for guests
  • Ensure every guest feels recognized, valued, and cared for
  • Build relationships with wine club members and repeat visitors
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns with grace and professionalism



Lead & Inspire the Hospitality Team

  • Coach, mentor, and motivate the tasting room team
  • Set the tone for hospitality, professionalism, and energy
  • Train staff on wine knowledge, service standards, and guest engagement
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, and team accountability



Drive Wine Sales & Wine Club Growth

  • Inspire enthusiasm for our wines, food program, and wine club
  • Guide guests through elevated tasting experiences
  • Help grow wine club memberships and repeat visitation
  • Support merchandising and promotional initiatives



Oversee Daily Operations

  • Manage opening/closing procedures and floor operations
  • Ensure service standards, cleanliness, and presentation excellence
  • Utilize POS systems, reservation systems, and wine club software
  • Maintain smooth guest flow and efficient service pacing

Qualifications

  • 35 years hospitality, tasting room, restaurant, or resort management experience preferred
  • Wine knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
  • Strong leadership and guest service skills
  • Experience with POS and reservation systems preferred
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Compensation

Commensurate with experience (3-5 years minimum) Hourly + Tips + Benefits
