Position Overview

As we expand our Behavioral Health services, we are seeking a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to provide care to patients in our Behavioral Health Department, both virtually and in-person. The selected individual will collaborate with our Primary Care and specialty providers, utilizing a hybrid work model that includes both remote and office work. This role involves close cooperation with our skilled team of Cognitive Behavioral Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, Nurse Care Managers, and Psychiatry Staff to manage psychiatric conditions, offer psychiatric consultations, and contribute to the growth of our psychiatry programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering direct patient care, including psychiatric assessments and medication management for pediatric patients in the Behavioral Health Department.
  • Providing psychiatric consultations to primary care providers.
  • Educating physicians and nursing staff on psychiatric disorders and medication management within the primary care environment.
  • Developing psychiatry services and programs tailored to meet the needs of our patients and providers.

Successful candidates must hold a valid NY Psychiatrist license.

Compensation Range: $260,000 - $300,000

This compensation range is based on industry standards, and salary determinations will consider various factors, including years of experience, individual performance, quality measures, and job location.
