Job Description
Our organization located in the scenic Albuquerque, New Mexico, is on the lookout for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Oncology/Hematology Physician to become a part of our expanding network of hospitals and clinics.
Position Overview:
Become a member of a dedicated team comprising three experienced Oncologists.
Participate in a well-coordinated cancer program that includes Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Breast Oncology services.
Engage in a collaborative relationship with our Pulmonology team through the ION robotic bronchoscopy initiative, which aids in the early detection of lung cancer and the prompt start of treatment within a multidisciplinary care framework.
Benefit from a strong support staff, including RN Navigators, Triage RNs, Infusion RNs, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Phlebotomists, and Medical Assistants.
Utilize 9 examination rooms and a 12-bay infusion suite.
Manage an average patient load of 16-20 individuals per day in the clinic.
Access to TriCore lab and pharmacy conveniently located within the clinic.
Innovative Technology: Serve more patients without extending your hours. Our providers utilize Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to streamline documentation, lessen administrative tasks, enhance patient flow, and ensure precise coding—resulting in improved work-life balance and revenue.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Participate in shared/rotating night and weekend on-call duties for inpatient consultations.
Our Oncology program features the newly installed Varian Edge Radiation Therapy System, the latest and most advanced radiation therapy technology, and the first of its kind in Albuquerque, NM.
