Our organization is actively searching for a board-certified or board-eligible pediatric hematologist/oncologist who specializes in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies. This position provides a harmonious blend of clinical responsibilities, academic engagement, and research prospects within an expanding transplant program.
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional clinical skills, a passion for scholarly activities, and a strong dedication to education. Candidates should have completed fellowship training or possess practical experience in caring for pediatric patients who are undergoing stem cell transplants and advanced cellular therapies. A faculty position is part of this role, which includes responsibilities for teaching and mentoring medical students, pediatric residents, and hematology/oncology fellows.
Program Highlights- FACT-accredited pediatric bone marrow and stem cell transplant program
- Conducting approximately 10-15 transplants each year, including autologous, allogeneic, haploidentical, and alternative donor transplants
- A dedicated multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and pharmacy professionals
- On-site stem cell apheresis unit and bone marrow processing laboratory
- Access to a cellular therapy research laboratory, with a GMP facility currently in development
- Shared responsibilities for inpatient, outpatient, and on-call duties
- Opportunity to establish a clinical, translational, or laboratory-based research program
- Encouragement to participate in clinical trials and innovative cellular therapies
- Board certification in Pediatrics; board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
- Preferred additional training or experience in transplantation and cellular therapy
- Protected time allocated for research activities
