Our organization is on the lookout for a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) subspecialist to become a part of our distinguished Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This role presents a remarkable chance to engage in a vibrant academic setting that prioritizes excellence in patient care, education, and research. The MFM Division primarily offers consultation services to faculty and community practices in the Inland Empire Region, while also providing comprehensive care for a select group of extremely high-risk patients. Specialty clinics focus on placenta accreta spectrum and insulin pump management. Additionally, the MFM Division is in the process of establishing a new fellowship program to facilitate future growth. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of five full-time MFMs who are actively involved in teaching residents and fellows, as well as conducting clinical research. We are particularly interested in candidates who are eager to develop unique specialty programs and assist in the fellowship's establishment. Coverage for delivery and labor & delivery is optional.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine to a diverse population from San Bernardino and Riverside counties.
  • Engage in teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Contribute to a collaborative care model and participate in clinical research initiatives.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team that includes a full range of adult and pediatric subspecialties, advanced practice providers, sonographers, and genetic counselors.
  • Share home call responsibilities, with no in-house call required after hours.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in California.
Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in fetal sonography evaluation.
  • Proven ability to conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications.
  • Interest in expanding telehealth services and participating in fellowship program development.
  • Experience in mentoring and training healthcare professionals.

Compensation & Benefits

The starting base compensation range is anticipated to be between $420,000 and $500,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. Additional variable compensation for exceeding productivity benchmarks is paid semi-annually. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
