Our organization is on the lookout for outpatient neurologists specializing in various areas, including General Neurology, Neuromuscular Disorders, Movement Disorders, Vascular Neurology, and Cognitive Neurology. The neurology team provides care for a diverse range of neurological issues within a collaborative setting that boasts a strong presence of sub-specialties. Additionally, there are numerous teaching opportunities for those enthusiastic about mentoring medical students and residents.
Role and ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidates will become part of a thriving academic practice that offers exceptional avenues for research and involvement in clinical trials. The ideal individual will have the chance to educate and oversee residents and fellows, fostering the growth of future leaders in neurology.
Beyond teaching and mentoring advanced practice providers, residents, and fellows, the neurology faculty member will also be tasked with expanding outpatient clinics, which are in high demand. Furthermore, the neurologist will have the chance to engage in research within their specific sub-specialty.
QualificationsWe are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Completion of an accredited fellowship
- Possession of a Georgia Medical License or the ability to obtain one
- A demonstrated interest in academia, with a history of leadership, research, teaching, and clinical service
