Our organization is seeking a Radiologist in Chief and Division Chief of Pediatric Radiology to lead strategic, clinical, operational, and academic initiatives within the division that serves Western Kentucky and parts of Southern Indiana. This position is crucial for ensuring the provision of exceptional, patient-focused pediatric imaging services, promoting a culture of clinical excellence and innovation, and managing the educational and research endeavors associated with our institution and the School of Medicine.

Highlights of the Pediatrics Department:
  • Expanded from 180 to over 400 full-time pediatric faculty members since 2020.
  • Home to the region's sole Level I Pediatric Trauma Center (300-bed) and a fully integrated academic clinical care model that emphasizes the application of clinical research to cutting-edge bedside care.
  • A state-of-the-art Pediatric Academic Center spanning over 150 acres is currently under construction, set to open in 2030.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all clinical, operational, and academic functions of the Radiology Division.
  • Work in partnership with the Department Chair and hospital leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and policy formulation.
  • Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a diverse and skilled team of faculty and staff, encouraging professional development and a collaborative atmosphere.
  • Provide leadership and actively engage in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Collaborate closely with pediatric and pediatric subspecialty physicians during multidisciplinary conferences and in daily patient management to ensure optimal, integrated care.
