Faculty Anesthesiologist
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for skilled anesthesiologists who possess a passion for various clinical specialties to become part of our team. We are offering positions for Faculty Anesthesiologists on either the Clinical or Tenure Track at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, contingent upon qualifications.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstruct medical students, residents, and fellows in Anesthesia.
Deliver didactic education in the field of Anesthesia.
Facilitate training programs in Anesthesia.
Support medical clinics and treatment facilities while providing anesthesiologic care to patients.
Engage in clinical research within the Anesthesia domain.
Offer comprehensive clinical services alongside a wide range of ongoing research initiatives.
Applicants who are successful will need to disclose any history of misconduct or ongoing investigations related to research misconduct, including but not limited to sexual misconduct from previous employment. A related release will be required, and candidates will undergo a criminal background and credential verification process.
Educational QualificationsApplicants must possess an MD, DO, or an equivalent foreign degree.
Completion of a minimum of 36 months in an Anesthesia residency or a comparable postgraduate training program, or a foreign equivalent. The organization will recognize a Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER) program in Anesthesia as a foreign equivalent.
Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
