The Cognitive Neurology and Dementia Division within the Department of Neurology at our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist who has successfully completed a fellowship in Cognitive Neurology. We have established a comprehensive center dedicated to research and patient care, recognized as one of the top 10 Centers of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease in New York State. This center was founded with the aim of revolutionizing dementia care in upstate New York and hastening advancements in prevention and treatment. With strong institutional and community backing, along with additional philanthropic contributions, we are eager to find a candidate who is deeply committed to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and who shares our vision for enhancing educational and clinical research initiatives while delivering outstanding clinical care.
Key Highlights:Our center serves a diverse patient population within an academic hospital environment, covering 23 counties and over 2.5 million residents.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team that includes neurologists, neuropsychologists, geriatric psychiatrists, social workers, and other support staff.
- The successful applicant will have numerous opportunities to educate medical students, residents, and fellows as part of our academic faculty.
- Engage in multiple ongoing research projects, with encouragement and support for research and scholarly activities based on the clinician's skills and achievements.

We provide a highly competitive benefits package, which includes:
- A base salary range of $230,000 to $260,000, depending on academic rank, along with additional incentive bonuses.
