Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a General Gastroenterology Physician at our Mount Sinai South Nassau location!

We are looking to enhance our division and invite applications from recent graduates in Gastroenterology, as well as experienced mid to senior-level professionals. We encourage all General Gastroenterologists to apply!

Mount Sinai South Nassau serves as the flagship hospital for Long Island within our health system, situated in Oceanside, NY, just about 30 minutes from New York City. This award-winning, not-for-profit teaching hospital is one of the largest in the region, boasting 455 beds, over 900 physicians, and a workforce of 3,500 employees.

Position Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree from an accredited institution

  • Possession of a New York Medical License or eligibility to obtain one

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology

  • Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

The compensation for this position ranges from $325,000 to $425,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.

Salary Disclosure Information:

Our organization provides a salary range in accordance with New York City's Salary Transparency law. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, including experience, specialty, historical productivity, collections, and community needs. Therefore, the final salary may be closer to either end of the range, and in some cases, may exceed the listed range. The stated salary range applies to full-time positions and does not encompass bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.
