Job Description

Wound Care Physician - No Call, Zero Overhead

Are you weary of hospital politics, overwhelming administrative tasks, and diminishing clinical independence? Practicing medicine in Texas today presents distinct challenges. With the complexities of legal regulations, negotiations with insurance providers, and working within understaffed teams, it’s easy to lose sight of your original passion for medicine.

At our organization, we provide an alternative route. We are a prominent national group specializing in wound care, actively seeking dedicated MDs and DOs who wish to step away from the hospital grind, escape the burdens of legal and administrative fatigue, and return to the essence of medical practice.

As a mobile wound care physician and independent contractor, you will deliver essential, hands-on care to a vulnerable elderly population in nursing homes. You will make clinical decisions and manage patient outcomes while we take care of the administrative aspects.

Why Choose Our Wound Care Group?

  • Genuine Independence as an Independent Contractor: As a 1099 provider, you are truly in charge of your practice. Experience unparalleled freedom, flexibility, and tax benefits of independent work without the burdensome overhead associated with traditional clinics.

  • Focus on Medicine, Free from Politics: Leave behind legal uncertainties and hospital micromanagement. Your primary goal is to heal the patient in front of you, using the latest advancements in wound care.

  • No Overhead & Unlimited Earning Potential: Break free from the financial pressures of private practice. We manage facility contracts and billing. Full-time physicians can expect an average starting salary of $220,000 - $250,000 annually, with opportunities to earn over $300,000 through additional services, performance bonuses, and no income ceiling.

  • Reclaim Your Time (No Call, No Weekends): Prioritize your personal life. Enjoy a schedule free from night shifts, on-call emergencies, and weekend duties.

  • Eliminate Administrative Burnout: Our custom software is designed to significantly reduce the time spent on administrative tasks and documentation, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than paperwork.

Compensation & Comprehensive Support

We are committed to investing in our physicians to ensure you feel confident and supported from the outset:

  • Compensation Structure: Payment based on per-patient visits and procedures performed.

  • Bonus Opportunities: A quarterly bonus program that allows you to earn up to 30% additional income.

  • Training Provided: Extensive wound care training, including biannual continuing medical education (CME) conferences.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

  • Active, clear, and unrestricted medical license in Texas.

  • Active and unrestricted DEA license.

  • Note: Completion of a full residency program and Board Certification/Eligibility are not required to excel in this position.

A Supportive, Dynamic Environment

The field of wound care is rapidly evolving, and the enthusiasm among our providers is palpable. But don’t just take our word for it:

"I appreciate the camaraderie and support from my colleagues at our organization. The recent team retreat in Miami was a fantastic opportunity to connect and learn from one another, enhancing our enjoyment through shared experiences." - Dr. Tim O., former surgery resident and current physician.

If you are a compassionate and skilled physician eager to make a meaningful impact in your community while reclaiming your professional and personal life, we invite you to apply.
