RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist in Southern New Jersey

Our organization is on the lookout for a Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist to become part of the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at our children's hospital located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Position Overview

The Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Delivering comprehensive inpatient care within pediatric units.

• Providing care in well-newborn nurseries and same-day medical units.

• Mentoring and overseeing medical students and residents.

• Participating in shared call, weekend, and holiday coverage with fellow clinical faculty in the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division.

• Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Staying updated with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Academic & Scholarly Responsibilities

In alignment with the mission of the medical school, candidates will:

• Engage in scholarly and outreach initiatives.

• Participate in undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs.

• Contribute to the education of residents and students.

• Collaborate on research projects as appropriate.

• Undertake additional academic responsibilities as assigned by the Chair of Pediatrics and the Division Director of Hospital Medicine, who will act as a mentor.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatrics.

• Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

• Eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.

Compensation

• $120/hour - Weekdays

• $150/hour - Weekends

The compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience.
