Job Description
Our organization, a prominent multi-specialty medical group located in the Hudson Valley, is seeking an Endocrinologist to become part of our collaborative, physician-led team. This is an exceptional chance to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in a fully outpatient environment across various convenient locations, including Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and Beacon. As a vital member of the endocrine team, you will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of hormonal and metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid issues, osteoporosis, and conditions related to the adrenal and pituitary glands. You will work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care. This position offers a degree of autonomy within a supportive framework, with duties that include interpreting diagnostic tests, creating personalized treatment plans, and engaging in clinical quality improvement initiatives. Oversight of nurse practitioners and physician assistants may also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in New York State or eligibility for one.
Current DEA registration.
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and continuous learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred.
