Our organization is on the lookout for Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists to enhance and grow our expanding Epilepsy Division, which currently includes four neurologists.

We are the sole academic medical center in northeastern New York, dedicated to serving over 3 million individuals as a private, non-profit entity. Our Department of Neurology features well-established programs in:

  • General Neurology
  • Epilepsy
  • Dementia / Cognitive Neurology
  • Movement Disorders
  • Neuromuscular Disorders
  • Pediatric Neurology
  • Pain and Headache Management
  • Stroke
  • Neurocritical Care
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)

Position Highlights

  • Deliver patient care in a collaborative setting alongside both general and subspecialty neurology professionals.
  • Instruct and oversee medical students, residents, advanced practice providers, and fellows.
  • Conduct and analyze EEG/cEEG/aEEG studies.
  • Supervise patients in a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit for both adults and children.
  • Engage in a robust Epilepsy Surgery Program.
  • Take advantage of numerous bench or clinical research opportunities.
  • Enjoy an academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, depending on your qualifications and experience, while maintaining a balanced work-life future.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology.
  • Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
  • A strong passion for education and mentorship.
