To address the regional demand and deliver exceptional, all-encompassing Gastroenterology care, we are in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of our expanding team. You will collaborate with six other Gastroenterologists and seven skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who attend to patients and conduct a variety of procedures, both in the office and operating room. Our Gastroenterology Department performs over 10,000 procedures annually, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, esophageal dilation, feeding tube placement, and liver biopsy. Additionally, we provide specialized services to our community, such as ERCP, EUS (both diagnostic and therapeutic), EMR, HRM impedance pH monitoring, capsule endoscopy, fibroscan, and cyst gastrostomy.
Location: Binghamton, NY is situated 2.5 hours north of New York City and one hour from Syracuse, NY. This progressive college town boasts a significant healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community, with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, and cultural offerings like a symphony orchestra and opera company.
The position offers a competitive starting salary ranging from $519,000 to $650,000, along with bonus incentives, a signing bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Established in 1981 through the merger of three community hospitals, our organization employs over 6,000 individuals.
