Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer, our organization; Chair, Department of Clinical Radiation Oncology, affiliated medical school; Chief Executive Officer of our health group, or their representative.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Radiation Oncologist to become part of a dedicated team of board-certified radiation professionals in a cutting-edge facility. This role will contribute to a thriving clinical practice at New Jersey's sole NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, supporting Radiation programs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospitals located in New Brunswick and Hamilton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in a collaborative, evidence-based approach, working alongside a comprehensive cancer care team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations for each patient, which includes clinical treatment planning, therapeutic simulations, isodose distribution, treatment administration, and post-treatment follow-up care.
  • Participate in practice-related initiatives such as program development, growth strategies, and maintaining regular communication with referring physicians.
  • Work closely with the care team, including palliative care, psychology, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, nursing, physics, and dosimetry, to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Engage in process improvement efforts that enhance the standard of care throughout the treatment continuum.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to being approachable, friendly, and accessible in all professional interactions.
  • Comply with organizational standards, including Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Minimum Education/Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Board eligible or certified.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in treating Head and Neck cancers, Gynecological cancers, or Central Nervous System tumors is preferred.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is between $400,000 and $550,000 annually.

The final compensation offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
