Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent hospital, is dedicated to delivering tailored patient care through advanced medical treatments. We are currently in search of Board Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologists across various specialties to enhance our expanding practice in Tampa, Florida.

Available specialties include: Neuro-Oncology, Head & Neck, Thoracic, Sarcoma, Melanoma, and Benign Hematology.

Our program operates within an academic framework, with most faculty members associated with a well-respected medical college in the scenic Tampa Bay area. We emphasize providing exceptional inpatient and outpatient clinical care while actively engaging in Clinical Trials Research and Basic Science Translational Research. We invite Clinician Scientists and individuals eager to join a vibrant, clinically active, and nationally recognized Academic Health System, teaching hospital, and College of Medicine.

Essential Qualifications:

  • An MD degree from an accredited School of Medicine is required.

  • Completion of an accredited residency program is necessary.

  • A fellowship in medical oncology must be completed.

  • Relevant training and/or clinical experience in the specialty is expected.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated commitment to clinical teaching, research, and patient care in medical oncology is desired.

  • Several years of experience in clinical thoracic oncology is preferred.

  • Leadership experience in thoracic oncology is highly regarded.

  • Experience with nationally or internationally recognized clinical trials is ideal.

  • Academic experience involving extramural grants, clinical research collaborations, and/or training programs is advantageous.

Certifications:

  • Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida.

  • Board certification or eligibility for certification by the ABIM in Medical Oncology is required.
