Our organization is actively looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to become part of our expanding and collaborative eye care team in McHenry and Algonquin, Illinois.

Opportunity Overview:

Salary Range: $425,000 - $500,000

Departmental Scope:

Our comprehensive ophthalmology practice includes:

  • Cataract surgeries
  • Goniotomy procedures
  • Premium lens implants
  • Laser treatments
  • Minor surgical procedures in-office

Procedures & Capabilities:

  • Laser treatments
  • YAG Capsulotomy
  • Laser Peripheral Iridotomy (LPI)
  • Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT)
  • Chalazion removal
  • Lid lesion excision
  • Steroid injections
  • Foreign body removal
  • Punctal plug insertion

Admitting Hospital:

Our admitting facility is a full-service hospital that provides advanced surgical suites, extensive specialty support, and a strong referral network throughout McHenry County and nearby areas.

Required Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $425,000 - $500,000
