Medical Oncologist - Multiple Specialties
Job Description
Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent hospital, is dedicated to delivering tailored patient care through advanced medical treatments. We are currently looking for Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologists across various specialties to join our expanding practice in Tampa, Florida.
Available specialties include: Neuro-Oncology, Head & Neck, Thoracic, Sarcoma, Melanoma, and Benign Hematology.
This program is affiliated with an academic institution, with most faculty members connected to the University of South Florida's Morsani College of Medicine, located in the picturesque Tampa Bay area. Our focus is on providing exceptional inpatient and outpatient clinical care while actively engaging in Clinical Trials Research and Basic Science Translational Research. We invite Clinician Scientists and individuals eager to be part of a vibrant, clinically active, and nationally recognized Academic Health System and teaching hospital.
Required Qualifications:Possession of an MD degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited residency program.
Completion of a fellowship in medical oncology.
Relevant training and/or clinical experience in the specialty.
Demonstrated commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research, and patient care in medical oncology.
Preferred experience in clinical thoracic oncology over multiple years.
Leadership experience in medical oncology, particularly in thoracic oncology, is highly desirable.
Experience with nationally or internationally recognized clinical trials is advantageous.
Academic experience involving extramural grants, clinical research collaborations, and/or training programs is preferred.
Must hold a license or be eligible for licensure in Florida.
Must be board certified or eligible for certification by the ABIM in Medical Oncology.
