Orthopaedic Surgeon - Adult Reconstructive

Our organization is currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to become a part of our dynamic team within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. The perfect candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for teaching in a collaborative, faith-oriented setting.

We operate a bustling practice with over 20 orthopedic surgeons and 25 residents in training. Our Outpatient Rehabilitation center is situated at the East Campus of our medical center, just 1.4 miles from the main facility. The treatment areas are expansive, featuring an 8,000-square-foot orthopedic gym along with private treatment rooms.

Loma Linda is distinguished as the only Blue Zone in the United States, offering a family-oriented atmosphere with a deep commitment to health and wellness. Located in Southern California between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, this area is part of the Inland Empire. Nestled at the base of the San Bernardino mountains, residents enjoy easy access to beaches, skiing, hiking, and a variety of outdoor pursuits. This expanding region boasts a low cost of living and excellent educational options, both public and private. Faculty members may also qualify for federal student loan forgiveness programs.

The anticipated total annual compensation ranges from $525,000 to $640,000.

This compensation range includes variable components and is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) work schedule, as detailed in the department's compensation plan. The starting base salary, which is adjusted according to experience and faculty rank, is expected to be between $472,500 and $576,000. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
