Position Summary:

We are looking for a Radiation Oncologist to become part of a dedicated team of board-certified radiation professionals, operating within a cutting-edge facility. This role will contribute to a thriving clinical practice at New Jersey's sole NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, supporting Radiation programs at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospitals located in New Brunswick and Hamilton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively engage in a collaborative, evidence-based approach, working alongside a comprehensive cancer care team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Conduct thorough medical evaluations for each patient, which includes clinical treatment planning, therapeutic simulations, isodose distribution, treatment administration, and post-treatment follow-up care.
  • Participate in practice-related initiatives, including program development, growth strategies, and maintaining regular communication with referring physicians.
  • Work closely with the care team, which includes palliative care, psychology, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, nursing, physics, and dosimetry, to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Engage in process improvement efforts that enhance the standard of care throughout the treatment continuum.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to being approachable, friendly, and accessible in all professional interactions.
  • Comply with organizational standards, including Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Minimum Education/Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree
  • Board eligible or certified

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in treating Head and Neck cancers, Gynecological cancers, or Central Nervous System tumors is preferred.

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is between $400,000 and $550,000 annually.

The final compensation offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
