Our organization, a nonprofit hospital system, is looking to recruit a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist for our coastal facility located in Myrtle Beach, SC.
This role will be pivotal within the region's most extensive clinically integrated network.
Position Overview:Our facility, McLeod Health Seacoast, features 155 patient beds.
McLeod Health Loris offers 50 patient beds.
McLeod Health Carolina Forest has 48 patient beds.
This is an established practice, providing a turnkey opportunity.
A new Outpatient Surgery Center is being developed on the expanding Carolina Forest campus.
The team consists of 4 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, with plans for growth. Call rotation is 1:4.
The practice operates Monday through Friday, with a half-day on Friday! Enjoy flexible scheduling to manage your time effectively.
We are looking for both General and Advanced Gastroenterologists, including those skilled in EUS and ERCP.
This is a hospital-employed position.
The new Outpatient Surgery Center is located in Carolina Forest, SC.

McLeod Loris, a nonprofit 50-bed hospital, specializes in general surgery, women's services, emergency care, critical care, urology, and various therapies including physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We are also expanding our Dialysis Access Center.
The Carolina Forest location will continue to provide top-quality care, access to leading physicians, enhanced specialty services, and significant investments in technology. Spanning 43 acres, McLeod Health Carolina Forest will feature a seven-building campus offering diverse services. A new state-of-the-art facility, costing $56 million, is set to provide 48 beds and ensure immediate care for all patients. This facility is expected to be completed within the next two years, with an anticipated opening in 2026.
