Our organization is on the lookout for a seasoned and academically driven physician leader to take on the role of Division Chief of Neonatology, in collaboration with a prominent children's hospital.

Key Features of Our Neonatology Division:
  • Operates 9 NICUs, including both Level IV and several Level III facilities throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
  • Comprises over 70 healthcare providers.
  • Hosts one of the largest and most established Level IV NICUs in the nation.
  • Runs a successful fellowship program that welcomes 3 fellows annually.
  • Utilizes a fully integrated academic clinical care model aimed at translating clinical research into cutting-edge bedside care.
  • Plans to expand with additional locations, including a comprehensive Pediatric Academic Healthcare Campus featuring a 400-bed hospital on over 150 acres.
Responsibilities of the Division Chief of Neonatology:
  • Elevate the program by developing and executing strategies for growth in clinical, educational, and research areas.
  • Mentor junior faculty and expand the division to accommodate the anticipated increase in clinical demand due to upcoming expansions.
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to create a new Pediatric Academic Healthcare Campus.
  • Utilize a national and international reputation to enhance the division's profile and the university's standing, aiming for recognition as a leading institution both regionally and nationally.
