Our organization is in search of a committed, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Oncologist/Hematologist to become a part of our Medicine Service, providing outstanding care to the Veterans of our nation—America's Heroes.

Position Highlights:
  • Deliver comprehensive care in Oncology and Hematology, which includes patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for both inpatient and outpatient consultations.

  • Create and manage evidence-based clinical care plans, promoting collaborative decision-making with Veterans.

  • Work alongside other specialists to maintain the highest quality of care.

  • Engage in teaching opportunities for medical students and residents through strong academic partnerships with the University of Washington and the Washington State School of Medicine (academic appointment may be available).

Facility Overview:
  • The Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center caters to Veterans across Washington and Northern Idaho, featuring a main hospital and three community outpatient clinics.

  • The facility is equipped with 23 hospital beds and 31 nursing home beds, along with a mobile clinic that provides primary care to rural Veterans.

Work Schedule & Requirements:
  • This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday.

  • U.S. citizenship is required (non-U.S. citizens may be considered; J-1 Visa sponsorship is available).

  • An unrestricted U.S. medical license is mandatory.

  • Board Certification in Oncology/Hematology is preferred; however, Board Eligible candidates are also encouraged to apply.
