We are looking for Full-Time Neonatologists and Nocturnists to join our Division of Newborn Medicine within the Department of Pediatrics at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. The main clinical duties will take place in the 46-bed, Level IV NICU at our facility, which is part of one of Manhattan's busiest obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine programs, handling over 8,000 deliveries each year. Additional clinical roles are available in the Level III non-surgical NICU at another location and in the NICU Developmental Follow-Up Clinic.

The ideal candidate must qualify for a medical license in New York State and will engage actively in the division's clinical, educational, and research initiatives. Responsibilities will include mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. Strong skills in leadership, communication, interpersonal relations, multitasking, and problem-solving are crucial.

Key Requirements:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

  • Completion of a 3-year ACGME accredited Pediatric residency program.

  • Eligibility for a New York State Medical License.

  • Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

  • Must meet the eligibility criteria for an appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine.

Compensation ranges from $225,000 to $350,000 (excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits).
