Our organization is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to become part of our expanding team at a 517-bed tertiary care facility, which serves as the flagship hospital in Florence, South Carolina. This exceptional role offers a balanced focus, comprising 50% clinical general cardiology and 50% academic faculty responsibilities, where you will play a vital role as a core educator for our Internal Medicine Residency Program. The faculty position is affiliated with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, allowing you to benefit from the resources and collaborative spirit of an academic environment within a high-performing community health system.
The chosen candidate will collaborate with a team of 10 cardiologists in a well-established heart program, delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care while also contributing to the education of future physicians through bedside teaching, didactic sessions, and mentorship in a vibrant academic-community setting.
