Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists to enhance and grow our expanding Neuromuscular Division.
We are the sole academic medical center in northeastern New York, dedicated to serving over 3 million individuals as a private, non-profit entity. Our Neurology Department features well-established programs in:
- Epilepsy
- Dementia
- Movement Disorders
- Neuromuscular Diseases
- Pediatric Neurology
- Pain Management
- Stroke and Neurocritical Care
Position Highlights:
- Deliver patient care in a collaborative setting with both general and specialized neurology colleagues.
- Instruct and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct and analyze EMG/NCS studies.
- Engage in abundant research opportunities.
- Academic appointment available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, contingent on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology.
- Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
- A strong passion for education and mentorship.
