Job Description
Our organization is currently in search of a full-time Psychiatrist - Physician to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. The ideal applicant should be Board Eligible or Certified in Psychiatry.
We are dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care while serving and honoring the Veterans of America.
Applicants must hold an MD or DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training that qualifies them for board eligibility or certification, and possess an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
Key Responsibilities:Potential starting base salary range: $250,000 - $315,000
Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Conduct assessments and evaluations, along with medication management for veterans experiencing various mental health issues, including but not limited to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance abuse, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and related conditions.
Provide education to hospital staff regarding the psychiatric needs of patients, including handling techniques and expectations.
Collaborate with the families of patients receiving psychiatric treatment.
