Our Organization

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is actively seeking exceptional candidates for a full-time role at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor within the Clinician Educator track. This position involves establishing and managing a clinical practice at our healthcare facility located in Palo Alto, CA. Applicants must possess specialized training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) and be either board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The Center for Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options for women experiencing complex pelvic floor disorders, earning a strong reputation for its innovative biotechnological approaches. Our fellowship program in URPS is among the few fully integrated joint urogynecology and urology programs available nationwide. Faculty members in Urogynecology also hold a courtesy appointment in Urology.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is as follows:

  • Assistant Professor: $286,000 - $310,000
  • Associate Professor: $341,000 - $359,000
  • Professor: $383,000 - $404,000

This salary range reflects base pay, which is determined by faculty rank and years of service. It does not encompass all elements of the faculty compensation program or earnings from participation in departmental incentive programs. The organization has provided this pay range as a good faith estimate of what it reasonably anticipates offering for the position upon hire. The final salary for the selected candidate will be influenced by factors such as experience, qualifications, internal equity, and external market rates for similar roles.
