EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to become a part of our hospital-based Psychiatric team.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

  • Option #1: A base salary of $321,330* (50th percentile MGMA for recent graduates) with additional earnings based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.

  • Option #2: A base salary of $389,975* (75th percentile MGMA) guaranteed for the first year, after which it will shift to a wRVU production contract.

* For those not yet board certified, the salary will be reduced by 5%, with adjustments made upon certification.

The two-year contract also includes:

  • Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO). An additional 5 days of PTO will be granted upon achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.

  • CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing medical education.

  • Deferred Compensation: Participation in a 457b plan, allowing deferral of compensation up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually before taxes. No matching contributions are provided.

  • Retirement/Savings Plan: A 403b plan where you can defer compensation up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually for those under 50, and $31,000 for those over 50. The organization matches contributions dollar for dollar up to 2% of base salary.

  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to the moving company.

Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy, providing $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 aggregate.

Health Insurance: A small premium will be deducted from the physician's paycheck.

Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.

Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 can be repaid ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).

Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000 available (requires a service commitment of up to two years).

Sign-On Bonus: 15% of the base salary, capped at $100,000 (paid upon signing the contract and forgiven over 2-4 years based on the bonus amount).

  • Bonus Incentives: Attractive bonus opportunities of up to 10% of salary.

PRACTICE INFORMATION:

  • Practice Location: To be determined.

  • Office Hours/Work Schedule:

    • Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

    • On-call rotation: 1:6

  • Patient Load: An average of 12-16 patients per day.

  • Additional Responsibilities:

    • Conducting clinical case reviews.
    • Participating in psychiatric grand rounds.
