Our organization is dedicated to enhancing the health of the communities we serve by establishing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective healthcare system. As a not-for-profit entity located in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York, we operate Primary and Specialty Care offices across Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and Tioga counties.

We are seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Anesthesiologist with a focus on cardiac procedures to join our thriving practice, which includes 10 physicians and 20 CRNAs. Our team provides coverage at two local hospitals: UHS Wilson Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center with 280 beds, and Binghamton General Hospital with 220 beds. There are also opportunities for additional shifts at UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital. The practice encompasses all procedures, including light cardiac cases, with a call schedule of 1:4, including resident rotation.

This role offers a competitive salary starting at $625,000, with potential incentives bringing it up to $650,000, along with a retention bonus after the first year. Located within a 2-5 hour drive from major cities such as New York City, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, and Toronto, our area boasts excellent dining options, the Finger Lakes Wine Trail, and both private and public universities. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the hunting and fishing opportunities, while the largest shopping mall in the northeast, Destiny USA, is just an hour away.

Established in 1981 through the merger of three community hospitals, our organization employs over 6,000 individuals. As a teaching hospital affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, we train more than 75 physicians annually in residency and fellowship programs.

As a community-focused system, our values guide our decision-making and reflect the expectations of the communities we serve. These principles impose unique responsibilities on all members of our organization.
