Our organization is currently seeking multiple gastroenterologists to join a well-respected practice at a facility in Bridgeport, WV. This practice is known for delivering exceptional general and advanced GI care to a patient population nearing 300,000. You will collaborate with a supportive team of healthcare providers, all working under one roof, with the clinic conveniently connected to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidates will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with various digestive disorders, including liver disease, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, cancers, and other gastrointestinal conditions in both outpatient and inpatient environments.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess an MD or DO degree or an equivalent foreign qualification.
  • Eligibility for state medical licensure is required.
  • Completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology is necessary.
  • Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
  • All qualifications must be fulfilled by the time of appointment.
Opportunity Highlights:
  • Non-profit, 300-bed modern hospital facility.
  • Call schedule of 1:6, with inpatient service every sixth week.
  • Support from 6 Advanced Practice Providers across both inpatient and clinic settings.
  • Each physician performs over 100 endoscopy cases monthly.
  • Work schedule includes 3 days in the clinic and 2 days in endoscopy.
  • Consultative practice with hospitalists managing admissions.
