Position Overview

Our organization specializes in evidence-based behavioral therapies aimed at assisting children with autism spectrum disorders. Our goal is to enhance the independence and quality of life for our clients and their families. The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, leadership, and guidance to ensure the success of each client case assigned.

In your role, you will ensure that:
  • Client families receive consistent, high-quality clinical services, leading to meaningful progress and satisfaction with our offerings. You will deliver direct services, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversee assigned client cases, and provide consultation for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Your clinical team benefits from professional development and achieves success in their roles, tailored to their experience and growth stage. You will offer oversight, constructive feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to cultivate skilled Program Managers and Interventionists.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours weekly / 110 hours monthly).
  • Supervise the Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours weekly (120 hours monthly).
  • Provide clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across various clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, AFLS, VB-MAPP) to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
  • Oversee and document compliance with BACB standards for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates as required.
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
  • Provide precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to clinical team members (including Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers).
  • Deliver training as needed to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST), which includes discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and interdisciplinary team meetings as necessary, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and potential modifications/adaptations.
  • Collaborate with school personnel by observing students, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing necessary training, and offering ongoing support as authorized.
Required Skills:
  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practice
  • Self-motivated: Capable of consistently scheduling and attending client appointments and clinical team meetings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication: Clear expression, correct grammar, and spelling
  • Effective time management: Ability to balance billable and non-billable hours, as well as direct and indirect supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering relationships between the clinical team and client families
  • Team-oriented attitude with a focus on customer service: Committed to serving client families and colleagues, regardless of their roles
  • Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, with Spanish preferred
